How to grow green onions is very simple, you can do it right at home to both make a scene and have clean vegetables to eat. You can take advantage of onion roots to grow green onions in water (hydroponics) or grow them with bulbs in plastic bottles with soil.

How to grow onions in plastic bottles

Use a knife to cut off the top of the bottle from the neck up.

Use a marker to mark round holes around the body of the bottle. These holes are smaller than the size of the onion intended to be planted. Use scissors or a sharp knife to punch the marked holes.

Punch more holes in the bottom of the bottle to drain the water and prevent root rot.

Put a layer of soil on the bottom of the bottle, then a layer of onions. Place the onions in the hole punched so that the top sticks out. Continue to add 1 layer of soil and 1 layer of onions until the bottle is full.
